Cooperativeand Competitive Dynamics Model for Information Propagation in Online SocialNetworks

报告内容简介：

Traditional empirical models of propagation consider individualcontagion as an independent process, thus spreading in isolation manner. Throughresearching how different contagions interact with each otheras they spread through the network in order, establish an alternative dynamicsmodel for information propagation. The proposed model is a novel combination ofLotka-Volterra cooperative model and competitive model. Provethat the impact of competition depends on the critical speed of the messages.By analyzing the differential equations, one or two stable equilibrium pointscan be found under certain conditions. Simulation results not only show thecorrectness of our theoretical analyses but also provide a more attractiveconclusion.
