Theme: Discussion on multi-attributes sequential emergency decisionproblem

In the vendorselection problem, for example, the product price could be the major factorthat should be optimized, while the product quality and delivery time could bethe minor factors that should satisfy certain aspiration levels. We firstderive the optimal selection strategy for the discrete-time case in which onealternative is presented at each time period. The discrete time model is thenextended to the continuous-time case in which alternatives are presentedsequentially at random times. A numerical example is used to analyze theeffects of the satisficing condition and the uncertainty on the optimalselection strategy.
